A001 - Segmentation and classification under Napari

Pierre Weiss (pierre.weiss@cnrs.fr)
Clément Cazorla (ccazorla@insa-toulouse.fr)

The goal of this tutorial is to present a deep learning based methodology to derive quantitative analyses from biological images. We will be particularly interested in the classification of cells or nuclei from 2D or 3D fluorescence images. We will explore the use of two modern tools : - CellPose 2 and its human in the loop feature. https://www.cellpose.org/ - Svetlana, a new classification plugin developed by the organizers https://www.napari-hub.org/plugins/napari-svetlana The participants can bring their own dataset to test the methodology on their particular sample of interest. The tutorial will be given by Clément Cazorla (PhD) and Pierre Weiss (CNRS researcher), both located in Toulouse.
